The Kingdom of God Right Now

There is nowhere Jesus doesn’t have sovereign claim. The Kingdom of God is Jesus’ active and present reign. Jesus’ kingdom has come, and it is ever-increasing. He rules everything from the land to the people to the resources to the unseen realities of the heavenly places. 

Have you ever wondered what the kingdom of God really looks like when we obey the reign of Jesus? The kingdom is not far off. We can actually experience and participate in right now, right here on Earth. The kingdom of God is manifested in how we live, work, and relate to others. It’s about living in line with God’s authority and allowing His design to shape our lives. When we align ourselves with His kingdom, we begin to see glimpses of heaven breaking through in our everyday moments. 

Take a walk through Matthew 5-7 and see all the ways you can live in and under the good reign of Jesus today.

In what specific areas of your life do you need to more fully embrace God’s kingdom authority?

Prayer: Father, help me to see Your kingdom at work in my daily life and help me to live according to your kingdom. Give me the courage to align my priorities with Your purposes. Show me how to participate in seeing your kingdom come and will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
