Kingdom Framework versus Church Framework: Getting Church Right

The Church Framework sees church as a building or service for people to attend.
Many of us have grown up thinking of church as a building we go to or a service we attend. But God’s vision for His church is far more dynamic and life changing. The church isn’t primarily about programs or places – it’s about people.
We are the church, whether we’re gathered for worship or scattered throughout our community during the week. This understanding liberates us from seeing our faith as something confined to Sunday mornings. Instead, it empowers us to live as God’s people every day, bringing His presence and purpose into every environment we enter. When we grasp this truth, our whole perspective shifts from being church attendees to being church in action.
‘For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.’ – Colossians 1:15-20
How would your approach to daily life change if you saw yourself as ‘being the church’ rather than just ‘going to church’?
The Kingdom Framework understands the church to be the called-out people of Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Lord, help me understand what it truly means to be Your church. Transform my thinking from seeing church as a place I go to recognizing that I am Your church wherever I go. Use me to represent You faithfully in every situation. Amen.
