Celebrating Kingdom, Disciple, Society, Church: TRC’s Annual Sermons

What’s up TRC and Friends! Jennifer and I had the honor of going with our family, some TRC friends, and Snowbird Wilderness Outfitter friends to hear our oldest son, Gabriel, preach his first sermon at his church in Dahlonega, Georgia. Gabe is the student pastor at The Branch, and you can check them out here: https://www.thebranchdahlonega.com/ Incredible and solid church.
While we were gone, Stephen Galloway preached the first of our annual sermons that remind us of our DNA.
We preach these annual sermons to remind us of our vision, mission, strategy, and our tactics as a church, and we do that by focusing on the spiritual DNA that drives it all: KDSC.
Kingdom. Disciple. Society. Church.
I love that we have equipped men in our church who can handle preaching God’s word and are trusted with communicating our vision and DNA.
I have not preached in seven weeks to sit under the preaching of God’s word in my church, of which, I am also a member and for our men to exercise their responsibility to be approved workmen who handle God’s word well. All that is good.
I must admit I’m a little proud of these men who more than “fill in” but “tote the rock” like Herschel Walker. Well done TRC men!
Here is Stephen preaching on “Kingdom”.
